Magnetic Island + Airlie Beach / Whitsunday islands

Hello there! Here we are with brand new episodes!

So, Magnetic island was very entertaining, we did rent a 4 wheel drive car in the end and got to drive around this small island and go on the most beautiful beaches (practically isolated and we actually ended up on a nudist beach and felt much too clothed!).
The wallabies have been up with us the whole night during our stay of 3 nights on this island and running around our cabin in the forest and making so much noise! it was fun!

From Magnetic island we took the ferry back on shore to Townsville and took the Greyhound bus from there to Airlie Beach... we actually had the funniest drive ever as the driver was a real Aussie and decided to give us a unique drive: he first brought us to a creek in a town called Ayr, so we just jumped in a manmade creek, then went mango eating on the side of the road in a old couple's farm and actually went driving to a lookout situated on top of a really steep hill... but as we reched the top we only realized thecarriage containing our backpacks had opened on our way up and our backpacks had rolled down the hill ... anyways, we therefore drove back down and had to run after our 15 kilos backpacks!

Once we arrived in Airlie Beach we went to have dinner in the pub with the other travellers. Yesterday we decided to take it easy, went to the Airlie Beach lagoon, went shopping (yeayyyy!) and went into the same pub again with the same people who we are bu,mping into since Cairns actually so pretty funny! Today we wok eup early to go sea kayaking and our muscles are now sore from the 4 hours kayaking but woaw it was worth it: we saw that beautiful huge turtle in the sea which just came up to breathe a meter away from us!
Tonight we are barbecueing on the beach (free wooden barbecues are set on the beach for free use!) and tomorrow is our big trip that we've waited so much on the whitsunday islands for 2 days / 2nights! Our boat is the On Ice boat and it is a brand new one with only 12 guests and 3 crew! Our schedule will therefore be snorkelling, drinking, eating, tanning and relxing i guess!
